The Second Burmese war: 1854 (2 Sep) entire letter “From Lce Corpl Thomas Hart No 2161 No 3 Compy 1st European Bengal Fusiliers” at Thayetmyo, to Glasgow and countersigned by his Commanding Officer, showing h.s. “2” and, on reverse, various transit d.s. including “THAYETMYO/POST OFFICE” cds in red.
